What are decimal hours?
Decimal hours express time as a base-10 number. For example, 7 hours 30 minutes is 7.5 hours. Decimal time is often useful when hours need to be totaled or used in another calculation.
What is the difference between elapsed time and labor hours?
Elapsed time is the amount of time that passes during a shift or job. Labor hours add together the time worked by each person. For example, three workers each working two hours equals six labor hours.
