Overnight shifts
If a clock-out time is earlier than the clock-in time, the calculator treats the clock-out as the following day.
Decimal hours
Each day also shows decimal hours, which can be useful when transferring totals into another spreadsheet or system.
Frequently asked questions
Does this calculate overtime pay?
No. This calculator totals worked hours only. It does not apply overtime, wage, payroll, tax, or state-specific rules.
Can I use it for a two-week pay period?
Yes. Choose “2 weeks” at the top to add a second seven-day timesheet and a combined total.
Does it support overnight shifts?
Yes. When the clock-out time is earlier than the clock-in time, it is treated as the following day.
What happens if I only enter one time?
That day is left out of the total until both clock-in and clock-out times are entered.
