How to plan daily junk removal truck capacity
- Enter the usable cubic-yard capacity you use for the truck and an optional reserve allowance.
- Add jobs in the order you expect to run them and enter the estimated volume for each stop.
- Review the load before and after each job. When the next job would exceed planning capacity, the planner marks a suggested dump before that job.
- Reorder jobs with Up and Down to compare a different capacity sequence. This changes load planning only; it does not optimize driving distance or route time.
- Print, copy, export, or save the daily plan for field use.
Daily junk removal load planning without route optimization
Junk removal crews often need to know whether the next pickup will fit before the truck reaches a transfer station or disposal site. This planner keeps that question separate from route optimization: it follows the job order you enter and tracks cubic-yard capacity only.
Use your own truck capacity and your own estimated job volumes. The tool does not preset truck size, assume a standard load fraction, or make vehicle weight and safety determinations.

How does the planner decide when a dump run is needed?
It adds job volumes in the order entered. If adding the next job would push the current planning load above your planning capacity, it marks a suggested dump before that job and resets the volume plan to zero.
Does this planner optimize my junk removal route?
No. It does not use addresses, maps, drive time, or disposal-site routing. Reordering jobs only changes the cubic-yard capacity sequence.
What if one job is larger than the truck's planning capacity?
The planner flags that job because it cannot fit into one planning load. Split the job into separate planned loads or use the Truck Load & Trip Calculator to estimate the number of volume-based trips for that job.
Does reserve allowance change the truck's real capacity?
No. It only reduces the cubic-yard capacity used for this plan. It is a user-defined planning buffer, not a payload, GVWR, or vehicle safety limit.
Does the planner include the final dump after the last job?
No. Suggested dump runs count only the capacity resets needed between jobs. Final disposal depends on your operating plan and disposal destination.
